Your observation makes a great deal of sense. It would be worth looking into patent dates.

This shocking new theory that depression may somehow be related to stressful life events is just shocking. I'm shocked. Anyone else shocked?

Shocked to the core, I tell ya.

I had a look at some patents for key SSRIs, and I have to say it's not at all clear - each med has dozens of patents relating to the formulation, methods of manufacture, form factor etc... honestly couldn't quickly work out what was what. Every site that looked like it could easily answer my question was behind an industry paywall.

It does look, though, like there's a pretty even split of stuff that's already gone generic and stuff that's due to over the next few years.

Also of potential relevance ( Donning tinfoil hat) is the number of predominantly US school / mass shooters who were on Ritalin or antidepressants of some sort.

Interesting point.

I also wonder if Pharmazilla has something 'new and improved' waiting in the wings to supplant existing classes of psychopharma meds.

Or if they've noticed in their internal data a correlation between SSRIs and vaxx damage.

Thanks. I'm not at all surprised by this.

Nor am I surprised to see a leader in psychiatry gainsay this correlation. Her job is to protect her 'profession' from imputations that its 'treatments' are responsible for atrocities. I'm struck by the coldness with which she addresses the matter. Perhaps she's another who entered the head-doctor field in search of answers to her own psychological shortcomings.
